Here's How the Project Breaks Down Using The
"Big Six" Problem Solving Approach

Task Definition (What needs to be done?)
1.  Define what a hero is to your team.
2.  Research a minimum of four heroes.
3.  Choose one hero.
4.  Write a persuasive paragraph for your hero.
5.  Design a stamp.

Information Seeking Strategies (What resources can I use?)
1.  Dictionary (for definition)
2.  My Hero Website (for research on heroes)

3.  Stamp Websites (for research on stamp design)


Location and Access (Where can I find these resources?)
1.  Duveneck LMC
2.  Home (if you have a computer with access to the Internet)

Use of Information (What can I use?)
1.  Websites (mandatory)
2.  Print materials (optional - from the Duveneck LMC or public library)

Synthesis (What can I make to finish the job?)
Using Hyperstudio, you will create a three card stack that has the following:
Card 1 - Title of stack and definition of hero
Card 2 - Persuasive paragraph written for hero
Card 3 - Stamp

Evaluation (How will I know that I did my job well?)
