Hero Project Duveneck Library Media Center 4th Grade Project Task - Day Two After the staff meeting you should accomplish the following: 1.  Find a computer and select Netscape from the apple menu. 2.  Visit the My Hero Website.  Type the following URL into the netsite window or click on the link*: http://myhero.com/home.asp - This page loads slowly so be patient! *Don't forget to use the Back arrow on your browser to return to this site! 3.  Begin your research  by clicking on the various thumbnail pictures of the people listed on the site and reading the information. 4.  Try to narrow your research focus on four individuals from the website. 5.  Begin taking notes on the four individuals you have chosen. Remember, your notes should consist of keywords or phrases from your reading.  You do not have to finish your notes today!   You may want to open a word processing document to type in your notes or to cut and paste.  Click on DIRECTIONS if you need help in opening a word processing document for note taking. 6.  Go to check-out.
