About the PTA

The Duveneck PTA consists of parents and school staff who work together to support and enrich the life of Duveneck Elementary School. The PTA functions as a liaison between staff and parents to ensure open communication and understanding. The PTA provides opportunities for parents to participate in the life of the school. It sponsors social events to bring parents, teachers and families together and to enhance the sense of community. It provides occasional parent education programs. An Executive Board composed of 15 elected parents, our principal and two staff members meets monthly with interested PTA members to guide these programs and the PTA budget. These PTA Business Meetings are open to all members of the school community.

PTA BUDGET

The Duveneck PTA budget is prepared by the Treasurer and voted upon by the PTA membership in the fall of each school year.

The PTA budget supports the school plan. These funds also contribute to technology resources, classroom supplies, field trip scholarships, enrichment programs, and library materials.
